Stablecoin prize payouts are designed to hold a steady value against a reference asset like the US dollar, so the amount you win is close to the amount you can spend later. Temptation Token does not pay in a stablecoin: the voting contract pays every share in $TTS, straight to winners' wallets, in the settlement transaction. Before any round, on any platform, check what the prize asset is, where the split is published, and how you would move it.

What are stablecoin prize payouts, and why does the asset matter?

Stablecoin prize payouts pay a winner in a token built to track fiat, usually the dollar. That matters because a prize is only worth what it buys on the day you spend it. The SEC describes a stablecoin as a crypto asset designed to maintain a stable value relative to a reference asset like the U.S. dollar. Banks handle fiat payments the same way, just without a blockchain.

Base has also built a native token standard for this kind of asset. Cointelegraph reported that B20 lets developers create tokens for use cases including stablecoins and real-world assets. That integration makes clear which tokens the chain increasingly expects to carry.

Here is the real problem. A standard says nothing about what your trophy is paid in. Only the game’s own contract does.

What does Temptation Token actually pay a winner in?

The contract pays every winner in $TTS, a game token, not a stablecoin. I would rather say that plainly.

How the split works

One round runs one week and closes Sunday night, US Eastern time. Chainlink VRF draws the winning profile at random, weighted by tickets. The prize pool is only the $TTS voted on the winning profile. Without a club, it splits 35% to the top voter, 35% to the winning profile’s wallet, 10% to the charity wallet and 20% to the house. With a registered club code, it is 35%, 35%, 10% to charity, 10% to the club and 10% to the house.

The voting contract sets that split and makes direct payments at settlement. It also mints three TTS Round Trophy NFTs: one to the winning profile, one to the top voter, one to the house. The full mechanics are in round mechanics explained.

How is a stable-value payout different from winning a thinly traded token?

A stable-value payout is built to hold its peg, while a game token’s market value can move between winning and spending. With a thin market, you may also need a buyer before the prize means anything outside the game.

So I will not tell you what $TTS is worth, and I make no earnings claims. A trophy in $TTS is a game result, not a dollar figure.

What the app does give you is a guardrail. You top up $TTS inside the app by swapping ETH or USDC on Base at a live quote. The app refuses any purchase whose price impact would exceed 5%. Swaps in the Uniswap V2 pool and votes carry no transfer tax.

Why do most vote-to-earn projects dodge the payout question?

Because the honest answer is less exciting than a big number on a banner. A prize headline sells. The asset behind it does not.

Ask most social games what you will receive. They offer the pool size and the hype, rarely a contract address. That dodge is the first of the rug pull red flags I look for.

Our answer is published where anyone can read it. The voting contract on Base is 0x783b8cd80b586b723188c93ef94ee1beede617b4. It sets the split, pays the shares, and sends unwinning votes to the burn address. You can also read what a round actually pays on.

What should a winner check about any prize asset before a round?

Check five things before you vote, on any platform. Each takes a few minutes.

For our game, every one of those answers is already above. If you are new, start with a play wallet on Base.

How much are crypto transaction fees when you move a prize on Base?

Every move on Base needs a little ETH for gas. The cost changes with global network demand.

Base documentation explains that fees combine an L2 execution fee and an L1 security fee. On top of gas, $TTS has a 1% transfer tax on transfers where neither side is tax-exempt. The voting contract and the Uniswap V2 pool are exempt.

If you want USDC, it lives on Base too. Circle states that USDC on Base is live on mainnet. The app lets you swap between it and $TTS at a live quote.

Frequently asked questions

Can I profit from stablecoins?

A stablecoin is built to hold a steady value, not to grow, so it is not a financial tool to earn a profit. We make no return claims about $TTS.

No. A new wallet gets a one-time signup bonus of 500 $TTS on first connect, while the daily cap allows.

Are votes refundable if my profile does not win?

No. Votes are final. After payouts, unwinning votes go to the burn address.

How do I get my prize out of the game?

Shares arrive in $TTS directly in your wallet at settlement, so nothing needs claiming. From there you can swap in the app for ETH or USDC on Base at a live quote. Base transactions are irreversible, so verify any address carefully, and keep a little ETH on Base for gas.

Is a trophy NFT the same as the prize?

No. The TTS Round Trophy NFT records the win. The prize is the $TTS the voting contract pays.

The Bottom Line

Before any round, ask what the prize pays out in. Our answer is $TTS, set by a contract you can read. This page states no token price and no expected return.
